To avail of the SpAgent changes included in this release so you will need to update your current permutation version and install the required NuGet packages in your solution.
SpAgent & NuGet PackageReferences
It is now possible to use PackageReferences when targeting Full Framework 4.6.2 or higher in SDK style projects. With this change, customization files are not copied to the solution folder (as they are when using the packages.config file) and are instead installed in, and referenced directly from, the local NuGet packages folder on the machine. Please see the following document on how to modify a customization files in when using Package References Customization of SpAgent Storage Configuration files.
Prior to this release, when targeting Full Framework 4.6.2 or higher in SDK style projects, SpAgent packages targeting .NET Standard 2.0 were installed by default. This caused several issues with code snippets, dependencies etc.
Fixes
Online - Unable to create or edit client application: It was not possible to register a new client application or update an existing client application in Software Potential. This is now resolved.
